The University of Mostar signed an agreement on inter-university cooperation with the Pontifical University of Salamanca from Spain (Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca-UPSA). The Pontifical University of Salamanca is a university of the Spanish Bishops' Conference, founded in 1940 and mainly oriented towards the humanities.
In addition to the campus located in Salamanca, the Pontifical University of Salamanca also has a campus in Madrid and offers more than 100 study programmes. During its more than eighty years of existence, the Pontifical University in Salamanca has gained national and international prestige, standing out especially for the quality of its teaching, personalized approach to students, a wide range of teaching programmes and university training aimed at innovations in educational methodologies.
Cooperation will be implemented through activities such as institutional exchange of teachers, technical and administrative staff and students, development of new study programmes, joint research, cultural programs and conferences and other activities of common interest.
