The representatives of the University of Mostar, Rector Prof Zoran Tomić, PhD, and Head of the SUMIT Centre, Tomislav Volarić, PhD, held a meeting with the President of the Croatian National Assembly of the B&H and Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H, Dragan Čović, PhD. They have concluded that the digitalization of primary and secondary schools with the curriculum in the Croatian language in the cantons will be carried out by the University of Mostar, i.e. IT Centre of the University of Mostar (SUMIT).
Head of the SUMIT, Mr Volarić presented the plan for digitalization of education, which starts in September. The Coordination of Ministers of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, which implements the curriculum in the Croatian language, is already introduced to the plan and activities.
They also presented the plan for the construction of the SUMIT building in Rodoč that will be the center of the process of digitalization at all education levels. The University of Mostar will carry out this project with its strategic partners.
