Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Visits the University of Mostar

A delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), led by Dr. Wang Lei, visited the University of Mostar, where a working meeting was held with the Rector assistant for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Sanja Bijakšić.

During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for future cooperation, with a particular focus on research activities, institutional exchange of students and academic staff, collaboration in publishing, joint projects and research, as well as the organization of cultural programs, conferences, and other activities of mutual interest.

Special attention was given to the possibilities of jointly publishing journals and publications, as well as translating selected publications of the University of Mostar from Croatian into Chinese. The meeting also addressed cooperation on scientific papers and publications, which would further contribute to the internationalization of the scientific output of both institutions. In addition, one of the topics discussed was the possibility of organizing a joint scientific conference.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) is one of the leading academic organizations and comprehensive research centers in the fields of philosophy and social sciences in China. This meeting represents an important step toward the further internationalization of the University of Mostar and confirms its commitment to building strong and fruitful ties between the University’s academic community and Chinese higher education institutions.
