The 3rd International Erasmus+ Staff Week at SUM gathered 35 participants

The 3rd International Erasmus+ Staff Week, titled "Digitalization and International Relations Activities," concluded with the certificate award ceremony at SUM TV, the University Television of SUM. This event, organized by the International Relations Office of the University of Mostar, brought together 35 participants from partner universities in Brazil, France, Poland, Slovenia, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"You all did an incredible job in creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere for all of us and filled the week with a truly impressive amount of fun and interesting events. The University of Mostar seems like an incredible institution, inspiring me with student activism and the fact that the university is actively involved in society and the community," emphasized Marie Kalousová, M.Sc. from the Faculty of Tropical Agrosciences (University of Life Sciences, Prague).

During the five-day program, the staff of the Office for International Cooperation presented the University of Mostar to the exchange participants through introductory speeches by the university's management. The participants had the opportunity to watch a promotional film about the University of Mostar and attend a presentation on the doctoral program in Civil Engineering, which is fully conducted in English.

On the second day, at the Faculty of Science and Education in the SUMIT classroom, presentations and activities were held within the Erasmus+ project SMARTEL, as well as a presentation by the Center for Information Technology of the University of Mostar (SUMIT). After the working part of the day, the participants visited the Smart Campus of the University, the University Television and Media Center, the Learning Factory at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering, and a guided tour of the city was organized for the participants.

The program of the third day included a lecture on English-language study programs at the Faculty of Medicine of SUM, a visit to the teaching bases at the Dental Clinic, and a health scan conducted by students of the Faculty of Medicine. Additionally, the participants were presented with the work of the Office for Students with Disabilities, as well as the activities of the SUM Foundation and the associations operating within the Student Council. For the international guests in the "Sokrat" amphitheater, the drama group "Excalibur" from the English Language and Literature Studio of the Faculty of Philosophy successfully performed their fourth and second original play, titled "Contract Killer."

The working part of the fourth day of the 3rd International Erasmus+ Staff Week began with the second part of the presentations by international guest institutions. After the working session, the participants were hosted by the Faculty of Science and Education in Rodoč. They visited the Campus of the University in Rodoč, the University Gallery, where they had the opportunity to learn about its establishment, and the PRESSUM University press, where they observed the printing processes of publications from the University of Mostar.

The staff of the University Gallery of SUM, under the guidance of professors from the Academy of Fine Arts of SUM, provided the opportunity for wine tasting and painting on canvas through a workshop called "Wine and Paint." The participants also had the opportunity to visit and learn about the activities at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Technology of the University of Mostar in Rodoč.

The final activity of the 3rd International ERASMUS+ Staff Week was held at the premises of SUM TV, during which the participants exchanged opinions and reached final conclusions on the topic of strengthening partnerships and expanding international networks for cooperation in higher education. Certificates were awarded at the end.
