The University of Mostar has signed a Cooperation Agreement with Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan. The meeting was held via the Zoom app, and the agreement was signed by the Rector of SUM, Prof Zoran Tomić, PhD, and the President of PSUT, Prof Mashhoor Al-Refai, PhD. Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Jordan Mato Zeko also attended the meeting because this is the first cooperation agreement between a university from Bosnia and Herzegovina and a university from Jordan.

After introductory speeches by the Rector Tomić and President Al-Refai, the signatories presented the universities through a short presentation followed by the signing of an agreement. The cooperation is to be implemented through staff and student exchanges, exchanges of all publications published by both universities, which are significant for the development of scientific and educational activities. In addition, they will organize and conduct joint research projects and mutually exchange information on research results.

Organizing and conducting undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies, organizing and participating in scientific and professional conferences, symposia, meetings, and other similar forms of education and cooperation of students and student organizations in the field of academic, cultural, and sports activities are also part of the Agreement signed by the two universities.

The University of Jordan was founded in 1991. It belongs to the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), being the leading applied research institution in Jordan. Studies at the university include computer science, computer graphics and animation, software engineering, electronic engineering, computer engineering, communication engineering, energy and power engineering, management of information systems, business administration, accounting, business information technology, e-marketing and social media.
