The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on a Working Visit to the University of Mostar

The delegation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), led by Tian Dewen, visited the University of Mostar, during which a working meeting was held with the rector of the University of Mostar, Prof. Dr. Zoran Tomić, on the topic of potential collaboration at several levels.

During the meeting, possibilities of collaboration were discussed, with a focus on research, institutional exchange of students and faculty, collaboration in publishing, joint projects, research, organization of cultural programs, as well as conferences and other activities of mutual interest. Rector Tomić emphasized the importance of the successful collaboration between the University of Mostar and Chinese universities, as well as the positive results of collaboration with the Embassy of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of the working visit, the Chinese delegation also visited the Faculty of Philosophy, where they were hosted by representatives of the Office for International Cooperation and the Department of Political Science, with the presence of the Chinese lecturer. During the visit, the focus of the discussions was on academic collaboration in the field of social sciences, and experiences in higher education were exchanged.
