The University of Mostar has been accepted as a member of another prestigious international network, the Florence Network, which brings together more than 40 higher education institutions from 18 European countries engaged in education and research in the healthcare field. This network is aimed at international cooperation to develop and increase the quality of higher education in nursing, midwifery, and healthcare. Since nursing and health care are essential to the health system, membership in this network is significant and valuable for the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Mostar.

This network will enable SUM to connect with other leading European universities and to participate in international projects and programs. The membership itself represents a big step forward in SUM's internationalization effort.

One of the University's priorities is strategically choosing membership in international university networks to increase global visibility, develop joint projects, and actively create current policies in the European area of higher education.
