The University of Mostar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with INTI International University from Malaysia to establish cooperation in the fields of education, research, and international exchange. The agreement outlines collaboration that includes student mobility and visiting professor programs, joint academic projects, research and publications, exchange of teaching materials, and the organization of conferences, seminars, and other scientific events.

Prof. Dr. Sanja Bijakšić, Assistant Rector for International Cooperation, emphasized that this agreement opens up new opportunities for global mobility, joint research, and the development of academic programs.
"The partnership with INTI International University further confirms the University of Mostar's commitment to the internationalization of education and enhancing our students’ experiences in a global academic environment," said Bijakšić.

The Memorandum has been signed for a period of five years, with the possibility of extension, and serves as a foundation for strengthening the international recognition and connections of the University of Mostar with one of the leading educational institutions in Southeast Asia.

INTI International University is one of the leading universities in Malaysia, known for its commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching, and international orientation. It builds strong partnerships with universities around the world, fostering global learning, research collaboration, and student mobility. Its vision and achievements make it an extremely valuable partner for the University of Mostar and further highlight the significance of this agreement.

Prof. Dr. Goh Khang Wen emphasized the importance of this partnership.
"We look forward to collaborating in various areas covered by this Memorandum – including student and faculty mobility, joint research conferences and publications, and numerous scientific activities. Although INTI is a relatively young university, it has made significant progress in a short period – since our first QS ranking in 2020, we are now ranked 509th in the world and 170th in the Asian region. I believe we can jointly strengthen research, reputation, and the position of our universities," he said.

By signing the Memorandum, the University of Mostar and INTI International University have marked the beginning of a collaboration that will enrich academic life and contribute to the development of innovative educational and scientific initiatives on both sides.
