João Bacelar, the Chief Executive Officer of the European University Foundation (EUF), visited the University of Mostar, where he met with members of the Office for International Cooperation, led by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Sanja Bijakšić.

The meeting focused on fostering strong and fruitful collaboration with new members of the EUF in 2024. During the meeting, the University of Mostar was officially welcomed into the prestigious network that brings together public European universities sharing a culture of academic excellence, promoting high-quality student mobility, and fostering a strong European higher education area. It is also important to note that the CEO of EUF initiated a personal visit to the University of Mostar to facilitate a better understanding of the university's priorities and internationalization strategies, as well as to exchange ideas and plan further activities.

The University of Mostar has been an associate member of the European University Foundation (EUF) since 2023, which attests to the high quality of its international cooperation efforts in implementing European standards, promoting student and teacher mobility, and fostering collaborations with numerous higher education institutions across Europe.
