The University of Mostar has signed a cooperation agreement with Plymouth Marjon University  (University of St Mark & St John) and got its first partner from the United Kingdom. Plymouth Marjon University is ranked among the top five universities in England according to "The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021". It offers numerous study programmes in the humanities, arts, business, criminology, health studies, sports, etc.

The signed agreement is the result of the long-term successful cooperation with the consulting company "Cormack Consultancy Group" that works with higher education institutions. The University of Mostar has developed ties with numerous universities in Great Britain, Ireland and the USA through mutual cooperation.

The signed agreement refers to exchange programmes of teaching, research, administrative staff and students, development of new study programmes, joint research, cultural programmes and conferences and other activities of common interest.

The International Relations Office of the University of Mostar is committed to maintaining existing partnerships. However, it also works on establishing new agreements and forms of cooperation with higher education institutions in countries where it did not exist before or was less developed. The signing of this agreement is significant as it creates an institutional framework for various forms of cooperation with the United Kingdom.
