The special meetings of the University of Mostar on the activities of the new Senate began today with a joint, introductory meeting attended by the Rector, Vice-Rectors and Assistant-Rectors of the University of Mostar, newly elected deans and vice-deans of organizational units. The goal of these special meetings is to coordinate and inform all stakeholders who will contribute to the development of the University of Mostar in the next four years.

The Rector of SUM, Prof Zoran Tomić, PhD, Vice-Rector for science and development Prof Ivo Čolak, PhD, Vice-Rector for international relations Prof Sanja Bijakšić, PhD, Vice-Rector for biomedicine Prof Milenko Bevanda, PhD and Vice-Rector for business, human resources and quality management Prof Zdenko Klepić, PhD, Assistant-Rector for teaching and student affairs Prof Vesna Kazazić, PhD and Assistant-Rector for information technologies and innovations docent Tomislav Volarić, PhD spoke about the plans and activities in the new term.

Special meetings on education, international relations, legal issues, projects, quality management, business, science, art, public procurement, public relations and information technology are to be held throughout the week. These issues are to be addressed by the heads of SUM offices and consider an analysis of the situation and problems for a particular area and draw clear conclusions for activities in the coming period.

The closing meeting is to be held on Friday at the Faculty of Medicine, and all Senate members will discuss the working conclusions of the five-day meetings.
