The International Staff Training Week was held from 18 to 22 October at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland as part of the ERASMUS+ project on the topic International Learning - Innovative Educational Practices, which brought together over 50 representatives from universities in Europe and the world.
Marko Odak, PhD, assistant professor and Tonina Ibrulj, assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Krešimir Rakić, PhD, assistant professor and Darko Šunjić, senior assistant at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing and Electrical Engineering, participated on behalf of the University of Mostar.
The weekly programme covered current topics in the field of international university cooperation with the aim of improving internationalization and connection in fields of common interest. The special focus was on the digitalization of education and online learning.
Numerous experts from European universities presented their own models of innovative educational models and practices such as a virtual international exchange programme, the application of online learning in working with international research teams and strengthening inclusiveness especially in working with students with disabilities.
International Staff Training Week ended with the certificate award ceremony for participants.
