A meeting was held at the University of Mostar with representatives of the UNDP – Selma Osmanagić Agović, Project Manager and UNDP Youth Focal Point, and Božena Bohm Kaltak, Head of the UNDP Regional Office for Herzegovina in Mostar and Head of the Via Dinarica programme.

The UNDP representatives were received by Prof. Mirjana Milićević, PhD, Head of the Project Office of the University of Mostar.

The purpose of the meeting was to consider future potential forms of cooperation between UNDP and the University of Mostar, with particular emphasis on involving students and young people in the activities and programmes implemented by UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discussions focused on opportunities to connect the academic community and UNDP through joint initiatives, project activities, professional placements, research projects, and programmes aimed at sustainable development, youth employment, and strengthening the capacities of local communities.

Both parties expressed their readiness to intensify cooperation and to develop concrete partnership models that will contribute to the more active involvement of young people in social and economic development processes.
